The road so far..... (inset carry on my wayward son, while reading. https://youtu.be/2X_2IdybTV0 , you're welcome)
After a 17 hour drive we finally arrived at the sunshine state, Florida ( aka.  the state of to much air conditioning). Here we stayed for five days where the temperature were around 30 degress plus no tornadoes. But the air conditioning..... oohh the air conditioning, we manged to freeze in a place with  30 degress, like really freeze. We couldn't stay inside for very long, because of this! (the real wikings of the world are the peolpe, who can survive this with only shorts and a t-shirt).
But enough of the deadly air conditioning of Florida.  We visited  the theme parks of Universal, which are famous for their recreation of the world of Harry Potter (fangirl scream),but no merchandise for Sarah  and Klara since you had to sell your soul to afford  it. Okay Sarah  got butter beer, but she has been acting a little  weird, since we got back..😊.

A snowman in Hogsmeade
The Hogwarts express, drove between the two parks!
Our cabin in the hogwarts express, it was very pretty!
                                                           Butterbeer, aka. Cream soda!
We also experienced,  eating hamburgers al dente, at a fine restaurant while still being kind of soaked after having tried the 'popeye and bluto's bilge-rat barges' two times (seriously that thing is made with the only purpose of making  you completely soaked, you could see a stream of wet people when you got near it).
Our delicious burgers at the, very pretty, Mythos restaurant!
Us being soaking wet, after our second trip on the Popeye ride!
Sarah twisting the water out of her socks..
The things we tried the most were the mummy rollercoaster and the tower of Doom (All hail dr. Doom!). The first time we tried the tower, dr. Doom walked right out of the dark entrance to the ride, while we walked towards it, it was so perfect  ( Sarah still regrets not getting  a photo).
Sarah snook a shot of him, in between all the people who wanted pictures with him.
We had some really fun days in Universal and our hotel was fine, except  for the fact that there was only wifi in the lobby. But before we could leave Florida  and head to Missouri we had to say goodbye to a loyal and beloved friend, our ford focus (a moment  of silence, please). See, the car we had rented got hit by a small rock, which caused a tiny stone chip, so we called Avis and got a new car. This car is also a ford focus , but it is an older, bigger model, Sarah cries and sobs like all time (its been two days).
yeah, i know.. there's a finger..     but left is the first car en right is the one we have now :(
As we said earlier we are on our way to Missouri where we hopefully will  get to try a corn maze, six flags and what else this state has to offer!
sad about leaving Universal on the last day..

Goodbye Oil city!

The time has come to leave the woods of pennsylvania and travel towards the (hopefully) sunny Florida. We are still a little  sore from last night's yoga session. We "did" every thing from the triangle  to the cobra ( for safety  reasons there will not be any fotos of this on  the blog).
It was hard saying goodbye to Cub and Libby after staying with them for a couple days, there are no words for how nicely they treated us and we will miss them a lot. But enough of the sad stuff. We have been driving for almost five hours (Sarah does the driving and im "just" the awesome dj). I know what you all are thinking, five hours without wifi " how do they do it?!" and my answer is: i don't know. Sarah is crying in the background and i am trying hard just to stay sane, but fear not we will survive  like Matt Damon

(SPOILER)

in The Martian.
A game we have been playing on the way is called: finding the licence plates of America, which have resolved in me having a lot of awkward eye contact with all kinds of people, because  im trying to read their plates. But the most important thing is that we now "have" 21 plates.
But i will bid you all farewell this time around, because it is time to find some food!!! (Yes !!!!)

Update from Sarah
It is now 10.20 and we are currently in an Econo Lodge for the night and we still have 10ish hours to go! :(   the room is pretty nice and is not even above the 100 dollars!

We never got more licence plates, so we'll se how we're gonna do tomorrow!

I'll just throw in some pics from our stay and all the nature stuff we saw, below!

Cub took us out to Cook's forest
 - this is Seneca's point (panorama woop!)
 - And this the three of us up in the firetower!

The first week!

so.. we haven't really had the time to post anything in the past week, since we've been busy with New York comic con! But, now we have time to sit down and breathe!

so.. comic con? it was great! crazy amounts of people! the show floor was packed at all times, so if you saw something you liked at a booth, you should just get it right away, because there was a big chance that you wouldnt see it again or the booth just kind of dissapeared in the masses!.

on the first day we wore our Wiccan and Speed cosplays and i(Sarah) went straight for the Gemr booth, to meet the amazing Jessica Nigri and her boyfriend Ryan Brandt (aka. Fake Nerd Boy).

on the second day we came in casual clothing and the last two days we wore speed and wiccan.

the panels we got to see:
- Warner bros.: with screenings of the pilots from the brand new shows, which aren't on tv yet, Super girl, Lucifer and containment.

- Adventure time: With the voice actors of Jake, Finn, BMO and Marceline and screenings of their brand new show Stakes, where we got to see the first two episodes.

- Teen Wolf: with Tyler Posey, JR and two others i dont really know yet where we got to see the trailer for the new season and then it was mostly Q&A

- Boruto, Naruto the movie: with the creator and the voice of naruto and also a screening of the brand new movie, before anyone else were able to see it.

Before the comic con we went exploring in the city and ofcourse we went to Times Square, where we ate at a place called Theatre Row Diner (which ended up being our breakfast place for the rest of the week..)

and then we went to the cinema and watched The martian, which is pretty good! and it changed my view of Matt Damon since i watched Interstellar..

After the con we took the subway to La Guardia airport to pick up the car we made a reservation for, and it was a complete mess! at first the problem was that the money had to come from my card because i was the assigned driver and the there suddenly were extra fees (wich the danish office had told us, several times, were a part of the price we had been told), but the three ladies, especially one of them worked so incredibly hard to help us with this to get it right and in the end we got our beautiful Ford focus

and we managed to find our way to the closest Target, where i had ordered a GPS for pick up and when we opened it, it was ready to go, so we went to McDonald's (it was like, 6.30 ish and we had had absoloutely nothing to eat all day) where we also set up our new sim, so we could call and use data without extreme fees!

When the phone was working and the burgers eaten it was finally time to head out to Oil city, Pennsylvania! ( the interstate 80 was a killer!)
we arrived at 2 am, where we were greeted by the amazing Libby and Cub and fed with delicious Pizza (and i made friends with their cute little Kitty!).
We slept until 3 pm and then Libby took us sightseeing in the Oil Creek state park, beautiful place!

and we've just kind of been relaxing for the rest of the day after the stressing day we had yesterday!

so.. yeah! we'll be staying here for a couple of days and then we'll be headin' out to Florida and that's probably when the next post will be!

See you soon! <3
